About JCI:
Junior Chamber International (JCI) is the only worldwide non-political and non-sectarian youth service organization. It is an international community of citizens between the ages of 18 to 40 with the aim and purpose of creating positive changes in the world. Each JCI Member shares the belief that in order to create lasting positive change, we must improve ourselves and the world around us. Our mission is to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change and vision to be leading global network of young active citizens.
Under the 3 principles of JC movement, "Service for society, Leadership Training, Friendship among the world", our members are positively tackling with the social issues for the realization of a bright and affluent society, pushing forward with our many kind of activities ahead of our time, and improving the qualifications and quality of ourselves as not only corporate leaders but community leaders. Through our social development movement that ushers in the coming generation, JCI develops leadership, social responsibility, entrepreneurship, and peer consciousness of youths in order to contribute to the community and the world.
JCI has officially partnered with the UN since 1954.The various community services includes providing books & dress for poor children, free medicines, free surgeries & follow up clinics, free medical camps, building homes for needy, providing free soft skill trainings for children of under privileged schools & many more.
